Sai Chaitanya belongs to Utnoor mandal in Adilabad district. He completed his early schooling in Utnoor and later studied at Navodaya School in Kagaznagar. After finishing his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIIT Trichy, he decided to prepare for Civil Services.

His journey was not easy. He started preparation after graduation in 2019. In his first attempt, he could not clear prelims. In later attempts, he cleared prelims but faced difficulties in mains and interview stages. Even after reaching the interview stage once, he did not secure a rank. However, he continued improving with every attempt. Finally, in his sixth attempt in 2024, he achieved success and secured a rank that could fetch him an IAS position.


He believes success does not depend on the number of study hours but on understanding concepts clearly. During exam time, he studied 10–13 hours daily. According to him, coaching is not compulsory; self-study, newspaper reading, standard books, and regular revision play a major role.


Sai Chaitanya also highlighted the importance of family support and self-motivation. Each failure became a learning step, helping him move closer to success.
