AILET 2026 Notification Released: Law Entrance Exam for NLU Delhi Admissions

 The National Law University (NLU), Delhi has released the official notification for the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2026. This entrance exam is conducted for admission into the prestigious BA LLB (Hons) five-year integrated law program and the one-year LLM course offered by NLU Delhi.

The AILET 2026 examination will be conducted on December 14, 2025. Admission to NLU Delhi is granted only through AILET scores. Scores from other law entrance exams such as CLAT or LSAT are not accepted for admission to this university.

Students who have completed Intermediate with at least 45% marks (42% for OBC and 40% for SC/ST candidates) are eligible to apply for the BA LLB program. Interestingly, there is no minimum or maximum age limit, allowing candidates of different age groups to apply.


The exam will consist of 150 questions for 150 marks, divided into English Language, Current Affairs & General Knowledge, and Logical Reasoning sections. The duration of the exam is two hours, and negative marking of 0.25 marks will be applied for every wrong answer.


Online applications will be accepted from August 7, 2025 to November 10, 2025 through the official NLU Delhi website. Exam centres in Telugu states will be available in Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam.
