The Indian Army has released the Agniveer Recruitment Notification 2026, giving a new opportunity for unemployed youth who want to serve the nation. Interested candidates can submit their applications online before April 1, 2026. The recruitment process will be conducted in two stages, starting with an online written examination followed by a physical fitness test.

According to Army officials, the online Computer Based Examination (CEE) is expected to be conducted between June 1 and June 15, 2026. Candidates who qualify in the written test will be called for the Physical Recruitment Rally. Physical and fitness tests for eligible districts will be organized in Visakhapatnam under the Army Recruitment Office.
This year, important changes have been introduced. The maximum age limit has been increased up to 27 years, and candidates now have the option to write the online exam in regional languages, including Telugu. Candidates from several districts such as Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, Krishna, NTR and nearby regions are eligible to apply.
Posts available include Agniveer General Duty, Technical, Office Assistant/Store Keeper, and Tradesmen categories. Educational qualifications vary depending on the post, ranging from 8th class to Intermediate with minimum required marks.
Eligible candidates must apply only through the official Indian Army recruitment website. Applications sent through other methods will not be accepted.
