 Ayushman Bharat Card (PM-JAY): The Ayushman Bharat scheme launched by the Government of India is known as the largest health insurance program in the country. As per the guidelines of the National Health Policy 2017, this scheme is designed to provide healthcare to all. The scheme is moving forward with the principle of “ Leaving No One Behind ”.

Previously, medical services were separate and limited to each sector. Now, through Ayushman Bharat, primary, secondary and tertiary level medical services are available at one place. The scheme aims to provide a comprehensive medical system including disease prevention, health promotion and ambulatory services.

Application Process
  1. Visit: beneficiary.nha.gov.in
  2. Click on “Am I Eligible” option.
  3. Enter mobile number and verify OTP.
  4. Search using name, state, or ration card number.
  5. If eligible, complete e-KYC and download card.

The bottom 40 percent of the poor and vulnerable families in the country (about 10.74 crore families - about 50 crore people) are benefiting from this scheme.

  • Town: Occupations such as rickshaw drivers, domestic helpers, and roadside vendors

  • Enter mobile number and verify OTP
  • Enter your name, state, and ration card number and search.
  • If your family qualifies, you can complete e-KYC and download the card.
