Assistant Sub-Inspector (Stenographer)	Total Vacancy: 256 Posts Pay Level: Level-5 Pay Scale: ₹29,200 – ₹92,300 Educational Qualification: 10+2 / Intermediate Pass Stenography skill is required as prescribed in the recruitment rules.
Educational Qualification – HCM	Passed Intermediate / 10+2 from a recognized Board. Must satisfy the prescribed typing requirements. Typing skill test is conducted on computer as prescribed by BSF.
Educational Qualification – ASI Steno	Passed Intermediate / 10+2 from a recognized Board. Must possess the prescribed stenography skill. Dictation: 10 Minutes at 80 Words Per Minute. Transcription: 50 Minutes in English / 65 Minutes in Hindi on computer.
Age Limit	Minimum Age: 18 Years Maximum Age: 25 Years Age was calculated as on 01/08/2024 for the original recruitment. Age relaxation is applicable to eligible categories as per Government rules and the original recruitment notification.
