Age Limit
Minimum Age: 18 Years.
Maximum Age: Maximum age varies according to gender and category under the notified Madhya Pradesh recruitment rules. The general upper-age limit is 33 years for unreserved male candidates, with prescribed relaxations for female and reserved-category candidates.

- ST candidates: Passed Class 8th or equivalent examination as prescribed in the recruitment rules.
- Additional conditions relating to Madhya Pradesh domicile and employment-office registration apply.

- Other than Special Armed Force – Male (UR/SC/OBC): Height 168 cm; Chest 81 cm unexpanded and 86 cm expanded.
- Other than Special Armed Force – Male (ST): Height 160 cm; Chest 76 cm unexpanded and 81 cm expanded.
- Other than Special Armed Force – Female: Height 155 cm.
- Special Armed Force – Male (UR/OBC): Height 168 cm; Chest 79 cm unexpanded and 84 cm expanded.
- Special Armed Force – Gorkha/Garhwali/Kumaoni: Height 157 cm; Chest 79 cm unexpanded and 84 cm expanded.
- Special Armed Force – Maratha/SC/ST: Height 165 cm; Chest 79 cm unexpanded and 84 cm expanded.
- Where chest measurement applies, minimum 5 cm expansion is required.
