UPSC NDA II 2026 includes 394 tentative vacancies, consisting of 370 vacancies for male candidates and 24 vacancies for female candidates across the Army, Navy, Air Force and Indian Naval Academy.

| Educational Qualification |
- Army Wing: 12th Class pass under the 10+2 pattern or equivalent.
- Navy Wing / Air Force / Naval Academy: 12th Class pass under the 10+2 pattern with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
- Students appearing in the 12th Class examination may apply subject to the conditions prescribed by UPSC.
Note: Candidates must satisfy the complete qualification and certificate requirements mentioned in the official notification.

- Candidates must be unmarried male or female candidates as prescribed in the notification.
- For NDA II 2026, eligible candidates were required to be born not earlier than 02/01/2008 and not later than 01/01/2011.
- No separate age relaxation is normally applicable because the NDA age range is prescribed by the course requirement.
- Marital-status and date-of-birth conditions must be satisfied as specified by UPSC.

UPSC NDA II Examination 2026: Exam Pattern
- Exam Mode: Offline / OMR Based
- Mathematics: 120 Questions / 300 Marks / 2 Hours 30 Minutes
- General Ability Test: 150 Questions / 600 Marks / 2 Hours 30 Minutes
- Written Examination Total: 900 Marks
- Mathematics carries 2.5 marks for each correct answer.
- GAT carries 4 marks for each correct answer.
- Negative Marking: One-third of the marks assigned to the question for each wrong answer.
- General Ability Test includes English and General Knowledge components.
- Calculators are not permitted in the examination.

How to Calculate UPSC NDA II Expected Marks 2026
- First identify the correct answer for every attempted question using the official UPSC key.
- For Mathematics, add 2.5 marks for each correct answer.
- For GAT, add 4 marks for each correct answer.
- Deduct one-third of the question's marks for every incorrect answer.
- No marks are awarded for unanswered questions.
- Calculate Mathematics and GAT scores separately and then add both scores.
- The self-calculated score is only an estimated score; the final result will be prepared by UPSC.
