Course / Candidate Type	Eligibility Details
CCC Direct Candidate	Candidates can apply directly for the CCC examination without necessarily undergoing the course through an accredited institute and irrespective of educational qualification.
CCC Institute Candidate	Candidates sponsored by NIELIT-approved institutes permitted to conduct the CCC course can appear for the examination, irrespective of educational qualification.
Government School / College Candidate	Candidates sponsored by eligible government-recognized schools or colleges having the required NIELIT identity can apply, subject to the applicable rules.
Educational Qualification	No minimum educational qualification is prescribed for the CCC examination.
Course Duration	The CCC course is designed as a basic computer literacy programme. NIELIT guidelines describe the course duration as 80 hours.
Total Vacancy: Not Applicable – Certificate Examination The NIELIT CCC is a computer literacy certification examination and does not have recruitment vacancies.

Selection / Certification Process Submit the online CCC examination application form. Download the Admit Card from the NIELIT Student Portal. Appear in the computer-based CCC examination. Obtain at least 50% marks to qualify the examination. Check the CCC result online after NIELIT declares the result. Eligible candidates can download their digital certificate through the prescribed NIELIT facility.
How to Apply / Download Admit Card / Check Result Visit the official NIELIT Student Portal. For a new examination application, select the appropriate CCC examination cycle. Choose Direct Candidate or Institute Candidate as applicable. Enter your personal and examination details carefully. Upload the required photograph and other details as instructed. Pay the applicable CCC examination fee online. Submit the form and keep the application details safely. For the Admit Card, login to the Student Portal and select the applicable CCC examination cycle. Download and print the Admit Card before going to the examination centre. For the Result, use the CCC Result option on the Student Portal and enter the required roll number / examination details.
Important Instructions Check your name, photograph, examination centre and other details carefully after submission. Use your personal email ID and mobile number wherever required. Download the latest Admit Card whenever NIELIT issues a revised or updated version. Carry the required identity proof and Admit Card to the examination centre. No candidate should rely on an old Admit Card if NIELIT has issued a revised one. CCC examinations are conducted on a quarterly basis from the July 2026 cycle. For centre-specific changes or rescheduling, follow the latest notice issued by NIELIT.
